Intro to Podcasting with Audacity via Zoom Online
They say everyone has a story to tell. Why not tell yours? Podcasts have increased in popularity over the years with millions of listeners tuning in to this form of digital media every week.
This workshop will cover best practices for creating a good podcast and managing our working files. Using Audacity we will learn how to record, combine and edit tracks along with importing audio files and format options. Finally we will look at ways to adjust audio quality before and after recording for a great sounding final product.
This workshop is open to students, faculty and staff interested in learning how to record podcasts for course projects, start their own show, or just learn a new skill. Bring your own headset/mic if you’d like to get started in class, or just follow along.
